NOVEMBER BUDGET & COMMUNITY UPDATE

Hello Fellow Community Members,

November is here, time to prepare for the Holiday Season and while this year may not be completely "back to normal" we as a society are taking steps to return to our old familiar way of life.

In evaluating the finances and putting together a budget for 2022, it has become clear that a Special Assessment is necessary to meet the needs of the community. There were three options presented at the meeting and a robust discussion ensued that resulted in a fourth option being created. We recorded the meeting and are working on getting the file uploaded to the website but are having some technical difficulties so it may take some time.

Technical issues aside, the Board values input from the community and as such, we are asking that each unit review the four options presented on the website here: https://www.silverwoodcondos.org/2022-budget. This site summarizes the issue and presents the four options and shows a cashflow graph for each scenario. We recommend accessing the site on a desktop computer as some of the images may be too small to see on a phone. If you have issues viewing the site let us know.

After you have reviewed the options please vote on one in the survey that was emailed out to community members on 11/05/2021. The survey results will influence the action the Board takes during the budget meeting scheduled for 7pm Thursday, December 2, 2021.
